From May to October 2025, Playback Theatre companies from around the world are invited to create and perform shows in their local communities under the shared theme: “Stories That Shaped Us”
These performances are part of the official 50 Years Celebration of Playback Theatre
and aim to honor our collective legacy by gathering voices from every region of the
world.
Each group will organise and perform a show in their own city — at 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM
local time — and submit information so that we can share a global map and schedule of
events on our platforms.
All participating companies will be acknowledged online, and their performances will be
part of a living archive of the 50th anniversary.
Once registered, we’ll share visuals and hashtags you can use to promote your
performance as part of the global celebration.
