Short Description:

Music and ritual play a key role in transforming everyday experiences into sacred moments in playback theatre. These two elements strengthen each other and create the unique power of change unique to the Playback Theater.
Musicians’ sounds deepen the ritual characteristics of the space, and the ritual framework of the performance gives the music greater power.
When these two work together, playback goes beyond mere dramatic representation and becomes an experience of collective healing and connection.
