The School of Playback Theatre Korea was founded in 2019 in South Korea and, together with CPT, is committed to fostering the healthy growth of Playback Theatre’s philosophy and practice. We are also open to exciting collaborations with other schools and communities.

Short Description:

In Playback Theatre, the Conductor serves as a vital link between the audience and the stage.
Through audience interviews, artistic guidance, and the skillful use of story language, the Conductor helps shape the dramatic space and experience.
Most importantly, the Conductor fosters meaningful dialogue within the community gathered in the Playback Theatre setting.
This course introduces the fundamentals of Playback Theatre conducting and provides opportunities for practice and skill development.
